Yesterday in our Art group I felt like coloring more than drawing. This is a picture that I created in MidJourney for some coloring pages printed and sent to my sister. Of course I had to keep one for myself. I hope to sketch a similar one soon.
Ho Ho Ho!!! In my opinion, it’s never too early for Christmas spirit!
This is my “play project” from yesterday. My resource photo was taken by Jean! I’m not replicating the photo but using it for inspiration; I’ll show it to you (maybe!) when I finished!
Norene, your creations fascinate me. I am so curious how you take a photograph and put all kinds of neat colorful papers or fabrics on it and make it totally your own. I’m looking forward to seeing the finished picture!
Thank you, Jean. I don’t think I have the words to explain how I take a photograph and go from there…colors, shapes, moods maybe?!
There just may not be words
I wonder too! The homes (which remind me of family) behind the elephant really spoke to me because family is so important to elephants.
I’m so fascinated with your art. I went back to look at the original picture and looked at how you interpreted it. So so interesting and what you see and create. I’m learning so much from watching you and talking with you about all this art. You are so creative and I love how you created your own version of the picture
Oo that’s lovely
That’s intriguing NoreneIt’s got me thinking
Here is another Self portrait that I made using the same line drawing as before as reference.
I included the (mostly) blind contour drawing I did while standing in front of a mirror.
Yes Norene your latest self-portrait certainly gives me more ideas.
Here’s my latest drawing I finished from our latest art get-together. Circles and goofy faces are what I needed to draw.
I love that you drew what you needed to draw! The colors, circles and faces are so expressive. It fascinates me that feelings we are feeling show up in our creations even if unintentional!
It was wonderful welcoming Conde to our Art with Friends group! There was fun, support, info and a few chuckles! This was the collage I played with today!
Your collage is interesting and colorful Norene. What meaning does it have for you? What inspired you? I’d like to learn more about collages.
Yes it was so nice to welcome Conde into our group yesterday. We sure did cover a lot of topics while we created didn’t we! So good to have you with us Conde.
