I did these a while ago. Maybe a week or more. Its interesting to me that I have some similar colours in my second ones to your recent one you just posted.
I like rhyming words. Lightly she goes popped into my brain so I wrote that. Then nobody knows. Random and yet meaningful.
Yes! The synchronicity of our colors is amazing to me !! And, I too like words!! Are you familiar with e e cummings ? Now, he had a way with words!
I am yes.
I also like Mary Oliver
I love Mary Oliver!
I did something similar the other day. I will send it later if i can.
Enjoying seeing your art here, Nicole & Norene. Keep sharing!
I saw this free online event about creativity and thought you guys might be interested – (Return to Creativity Summit) It begins March 17th.
Aloha Jewel
Thank you so much, that means a lot to me! I would love to see some of your art, too! I’ve included a couple of recent “just-playing-around” efforts.
Love these. Very nice.
I’ve been playing around with an altered book project, but so far mostly words and writings, not so much art yet. When I create some - I’ll share for sure.
Just remember… Words & writing are ART!!
Well, I’ve got this blank page that is decorated and ready for words. I’m kind of enjoying the space & waiting to see what will emerge… ![]()
Here is another free creative offering that sounds intriguing…
I like these Norene. The second one has some interesting layers that draw in my mind and makes me curious.
I did abit of playing in my altered book. Actually, last week I got frustrated and ripped out the pages I had started with, and “began again.” Something about my tendency to over-think things and make them more complicated than they need to be was bugging me, so here is my second attempt…
Lovely entries in your altered book; kind and gentle words and symbols. If I may suggest, try not to rip out your “frustrated” pages; they will remind you of where you were and where you are going. I hope that makes sense.
Thanks Norene. I will try. ![]()
Here is another option for (free) creative explorations to help get inspired:
Mahalo, Jewel ~ free creative explorations are the best!
Yes. I agree. ![]()
