I did a second one because I am looking for a feeling in my movement that feels hard to meet sometimes. I feel like I need more movement and tried to get that in my second one. Maybe it shows the restriction I feel and the movement I need underneath.
Aloha ~ I think you are right about the 2nd piece; it appears restricted and yet filled with movement that is familiar to you, i.e. the curvy lines and pastel colors. There seem to be elements of not knowing where you’re going in the 1st piece which I think is very courageous!
Thanks Norene.
I ended up doing a third picture last night. A painting. My daughter decided to paint and it was right before bed and I just picked up a scrap paper and painted too. Normal paper is so crappy for watercolour but I actually really liked the feel of this one and enjoy seeing it today. Particularly the darker greenish colour and the red parts.
Tell me if you don’t want me to post my daily challenge stuff here ? But here is today’s. Lots of stuff today. Teeth clenching bone grinding heavy sad angry guilty apologetic stuff.
Good things turning bad. Upside down and turned around.
Oh - there’s something very alive there. It feels good to look at it.
Please don’t stop posting! Your pieces are filled with palpable energy and emotion! (And, they help me get back to it!)
Loving these circles
This really speaks to me of kindness and openness and welcome. An offer
So funny. I’ve done something exaclty like this before. Not recently.
Great minds think alike !!!
Hospital art. Last Friday when I arrived my dad was asleep until a nurse bustled in yelling. I took the opportunity to scribble by internal felt sense.
I’m inspired by the layering and the depth and the minimal colours and which ones they are together.
SO WELL DONE!!! You saw!! You felt!! Great line-work (play!) Great color selection too!!
Nice reminders Norene.
I see a wild and free powerful yet calm and peaceful stingray in your gold….
