This happens to me all the time with a ladle. I still haven’t learned to, I don’t know, put the ladle in another drawer? Because it HAS to go in the “utensils” drawer.

Those damn ladles 
Mine are in a ceramic utensil thingee and when I pull it out other stuff flies out with it. The potato masher hid itself in the drawer. I think it was his/her day off.

It’s bloody anarchy in those utensil drawers!! Ladles and mashers and spatulas and the like ought to know their place in the order of things and as their human overlords I say we respond swiftly and with decisive action to quash their rebelliousness!!
