All good! No need to be more vulnerable than you are ready for! Right distance right depth And i am sure the experience of sharing and deleting also has its purpose and benefits for healing and growth too.
I havent heard this song in ages…! Made me start bopping around its interesting when you know a song since childhood but have never really listened to the lyrics. and then you do in moments like these because someone shares it for that purpose…its cool.
i love that meme and it is a truth.
I LOOOOOOOVE the Non Self Improvement Room. Space, time and dancing sound good…although I would like there to be a cosy space somewhere in there too…so while away the time…maybe it has open doors to our deck with fires and couches and blankets and the wide open sky
Dancing to Rise Slow (Kimo sounds) in our dancing room today I know i have shared it before but it really just calls me in so many ways, movement and freedom and deep soul resonating. So sharing my moment with you guys
Found this poem by Cat Caracelo and wanted to share:
Slipping into a Season
I slip into a season
Not with the certainty of stone
but like water falling and then finding its way
…through reed and root
to the sweet space of welcoming.
The air bends differently now
its breath carrying whispers
of what is leaving,
and what longs to arrive.
Between what was and what will be,
I feel the slow unravel…
a loosening of threads
that once bound me tight.
This is the season of yielding,
where the cadence of my steps
echoes softer, wider,
measured by silence
not urgency.
The trees, too, are turning…
offering their leaves as small prayers.
Like golden poems drifting to earth,
each falling leaf
teaches me how to release
grace in surrender,
beauty in transition.
I turn with them,
attuning to the unseen compass,
the subtle pull of night and light.
Every moment becomes a path,
every pause a chance
to listen for what is near.
Here, the body remembers
to listen deep, where the bones know.
A space where the soul waits, holding its breath
like a bird on the edge of flight,
for the moment the wind
becomes invitation to lift.
I slip,
and in the falling
I awaken –
not to endings,
but to the spacious threshold
where change
in only another word for arrival.
Let’s sit in the Grief Sanctuary Room and have some tea & crumpets. I found some good resources that look interesting to me (just starting to explore them)
