Trees surrounded by pavement seldom do as well for as long as that huge one seemed to!
There was a new hotel that went in near where I used to live. It was called the Royal Oaks Inn, and indeed, there were magnificent oaks all around the properly.
Of course, they asphalted virtually right up to the trunks to give more space for parking.
Renamed: Stumpy Inn
