When I read this I immediately thought “this is why it’s so fundamentally important that ‘home’ is inside of us”…not only some external, geographical location (although that’s important also). When we are not at home in our own skin then we will use many devices (and vices) in an attempt to escape…food, sex, drugs, problematic behaviours, etc.
Finding ‘home’ within me is the journey I am on.
