Great way to offer help

I attended the group coaching call today and @RickThrivingNow helped me so much. I wanted to text him thanks, but imagined he would prefer that I share it here instead. When prepping to call a friend who just had a cancer diagnosis, Rick suggested asking the question, “What is something I could do that you might be uncomfortable asking of me?”

The tapping session helped me sort out my shock and grief from how I wanted to show up on the call. When I talked to her, I asked her that question. I think it was really helpful. She is going to think about it but it helped me communicate that I am here for things she might be afraid to ask of me. I also told her to think about what things would be a good fit for me…what has my name on it.

Thanks, Rick and the group for the support!

So glad it was Useful, Dru.

Holding Good Thoughts for you and your friend. Interestingly… I had a dear kin have a non-health but rather love and work related challenge come up… and I used what we talked about since it was fresh in my awareness. Really helped there, too.
