I realized some time ago that most, if not all humour, is built upon a deeper truth. If there was no truth involved it likely wouldn’t be funny because our nervous systems wouldn’t have anything to ‘resonate’ with. In fact a lot of the humour I enjoy is quite ‘serious’ in nature.

More masquerading as someone who cared about what was best for me or “good for me.” Intraspecies predators are often very very skilled hunters.
