Behavior Patrol

Behavior

“Children don’t know how to ask for what they don’t know they need. Their asking comes in the form of behavior.”
Bonnie Harris

When we learn to see our children’s behavior as communication, as their way of expressing a need, we come off ‘Behavior Patrol’ and work instead for ‘Connection Reflection’. With connection and reflection we can understand a whole lot more about this little human in front of us, we can work in partnership for the equilibrium the child is seeking.

Applying this to my inner child…I wonder if this will help me identify my needs a bit more.
