Cool. Seems almost like music. I like the feeling of movement & aliveness these evoke.
Thank you, Jewel. I did not see the musicality until you mentioned it!
Thank you for the beautiful Spring Elephants! I’ve just returned from a cruise from Athens to Venice! Truly a trip of a lifetime! I’m in the throes of uber jet lag at the moment after 20 hours in the air and 9 hours in airports waiting for flights!
View from my gondola ride! The tunnel from which the ancient olympians entered the arena.
Ahh, Venezia! Memories. Welcome home and look forward to hearing and seeing more.
I had a crystal ball, literally, that I bought in Murano. I did leave it behind at the house when I divorced back in 2007, hopefully so my kids would have access to a vision of their Future Thriving even amidst massive changes. It was held up by a circle of bronze tree frogs! Wish I had a picture of it to share. Love to you!
Wow, that’s sounds absolutely stunning!! (I wish you had a picture of it too!) Frogs are right up there with elephants in my world; I’ve collected and painted them for decades!
Ooooh, I LOVE it!!!
Celebrating that I finished a crochet project - a lap blanket / throw for the back of my “new to me” loveseat. I really like the way it turned out and wanted to share my joy to have it completed. It’s been one of the projects I’ve been crocheting on the bus on the way to work.
And there were some neat synchronicities in how the yarn came to me (that matches the pillows so well, but I didn’t plan it that way) and even how the couch came to me and fits my small apartment so perfectly. Praying I can tap into this kind of synchronicity & flow in my new “Jewel & the Purple Dragon get a new job” project (more on that later)…
Oh yay! Now that is creative action, and LOTS of small actions. Nice… Thanks for sharing that!
Thanks Rick. It was nice to tap with you & Cathy and have a few laughs too. Definitely improved my mood for the rest of the evening.
Beautifully completed!! Congratulations!!
Thanks Norene.
This is so beautiful Jewel . For some reason I can’t come up with words because I’m just imagining you sitting on the bus crocheting. Such a relaxing image. I so love it, thanks for sharing.
Thanks Jean!
Sadness and the Circle of Life
I had to put my 17 year old cat, Sasha down ten days ago. Painting is my way of grieving…
Awww, Sasha. Love her. Love you. Painting emotions… indeed. heart hugs
